Welcome to the top tier of the Planet Classy experience. We are officially launching our highly anticipated World Tea Tours—an exclusive travel and exploration series designed strictly for our premier members, deep tea enthusiasts, and seekers of rare experiences.

Our mission? To cross borders, explore unique terroirs, and connect with the absolute masters of the global tea industry. And we are kicking off this journey right here in our own backyard.

For Expedition No. 1, Classy Hippie is guiding an intimate group from Sacramento down to Stockton, CA, for an exclusive, private-access look into Redwood Tea Estate.

The Destination: California’s Tea Frontier

Redwood Tea Estate is California’s premier commercial tea farm. Founded by 5th-generation farmer and former landscape architect Patrick Sunbury, this estate is doing truly revolutionary things for domestic tea. Patrick has braved the challenging Central Valley climate to cultivate exceptional, whole-leaf Camellia sinensis using an ultra-sustainable, regenerative agroforestry framework. By surrounding his tea rows with native redwood groves and valley oaks, he has created a thriving, self-sustaining ecosystem that yields some of the cleanest, most complex premium teas in the country.

Classy Hippie is proud to champion and support Patrick’s boundary-pushing work. This exploration is a masterclass in industry innovation, ethical sourcing, and the future of American agriculture.

The Planet Classy Curated Experience

Because this is a Classy Hippie World Tour, you aren't just getting a standard farm walk. You are traveling with a Professional Tea Sommelier as your personal curator. We bridge the gap between raw agriculture and the fine art of consumption.

  1. Behind-The-Gate Field Seminar: A private, 2-hour guided exploration led by Patrick Sunbury through the sun-kissed tea fields and lush botanical gardens. You'll touch the living plants and learn the intricate science of how extreme California UV exposure and massive day-to-night temperature swings create unrivaled, stress-induced flavor profiles.
  2. The Single-Estate Tasting Masterclass: An intimate, guided educational sampling of Redwood’s rare, small-batch white, green, oolong, and black harvests tasted directly at the source.
  3. The Sommelier Dialogue: On-site, we will discuss the synergy between estate terroir and the Classy Hippie standard of master blending. Learn how raw, single-origin leaves serve as the perfect canvas for creative, wellness-driven botanical curation.
  4. Exclusive Vault Access: Tour guests will gain rare, in-person access to purchase limited, small-batch tea pouches—a privilege otherwise strictly reserved for estate reserve members.

Who Is This For? This tour is a high-vibe, slow-paced luxury excursion for travelers who appreciate the finer things, value local craftsmanship, and want to be part of the community driving the modern tea movement forward.
